Jorge Manzitti

It was the summer of 1994 and I was a 12 year old kid. My cousin had gotten a new computer and the only games it had were Nibbles and Gorillas; some rudimentary video-games that came with MS-DOS back then. During that summer, I re-programmed these games to learn how they worked and then made some of my own. I had found my passion!
By 1997 I was already making websites and learning programming and design through a dial-up connection and have been at it non-stop ever since.

After several years working in IT both as an employee and freelancer I founded LatAmConnect with US smalls businesses in mind. Since then, I have met lots of cool and successful people from all over the world and executed awesome projects with them.

When I’m not programming, designing or doing industry research, I love watching a good movie or TV series marathon (The Wire is my favorite show, ever!) or simply picking up a good business book. I also enjoy long road trips, cheese burgers and I’m in the process of learning italian.

Fernanda Civit

Hi, I’m Fernanda and I’m a computer addict! I work at LatAmConnect as a Front-End Developer and regularly help with SEO and Online Marketing. I’m a very curious person and I’m constantly learning new things.

I’m a multi-faceted person, with clearly defined interests; one of them being Reiki, which I’ve been practicing since ’99. I’m also into astronomy, photography, animals, cooking and art, among other things.

I consider the Internet as one of the greatest creations in human history, improving the life of people in lots of ways; that’s why I love what I do and enjoy working at LatAmConnect.

Nicolas Montecchiari

Hi! My name is Nicolás Montecchiari, and I’m an industrial designer specialized in Graphics. I studied at Universidad Nacional de Cuyo in Mendoza, Argentina.

My interest in the web started around 2003, when I began to learn from a group of friends called Perla Marina. Since then, I’ve been working in banner design, short animations, some HTML programming, photography, etc. As a result of my curiosity and a certain weakness for relentlessly pursuing everything which attracts me, for me it's always been about learning.

At LatAmConnect I’m in charge of, together with Jorge, organizing information into a hierarchy (information architecture), diagramming and visually organizing the information, and finally designing the interface.

I also have an artistic side, having played the drums since I was 15 years old (I’m now 32). That has allowed me to travel the world (London, New York, Mumbai, New Delhi, Buenos Aires) and meet some of my best friends today.
